On Thursday， Liu Qiao， a master's graduate from Hunan Normal University， stepped up to the podium to deliver her commencement speech. In front of the audience， she shared her three-year journey of battling cancer while pursuing her degree — a story that has since moved millions online.

刘巧说，“三年里，阅历4次化疗、20次放疗、1次开颅手术，拿到一等奖学金，毕业论文得回盲审双A……”当今站在毕业仪式上，本人即是一个对于爱与名胜的故事。

\"In the past three years， I went through four rounds of chemotherapy， 20 rounds of radiotherapy and one craniotomy，\" Liu Qiao said. \"At the same time， I earned a first-class scholarship， and my thesis received double-A ratings in blind reviews.\" For her， simply standing at the graduation ceremony was itself a testament to love and miracles.

我是解释科学学院2023级硕士磋商生刘巧，站在这里，我有一种宿命感，三年前相似是这个场地，刘铁芳院长亲手将花和书递到我手中，荧惑我顺利入学。那一刻，我满面泪痕，磋商入学体检时，我查出绝顶后确诊为肺癌晚期。原来学院不错体检分别格为由劝退我，但学院秉合手着东说念主说念目的精神，留住了我，是学院这份热心，是本分们的不离不弃，给了我连接走下去的勇气。

今天，我能站在这里，本人即是一个对于爱与名胜的故事。三年来，我一边抗癌，一边读研，阅历了4次化疗、20次放疗、一次开颅手术，但我也运道地拿到一等奖学金，毕业论文获盲审双A。我从不去想人命的长度，因为我知说念人命的厚度才更贫窭。

It all began in April 2023， when she received her admission notice for a master's program at Hunan Normal University — and was told during the entrance physical exam that she might have lung cancer.

之后，刘巧盘曲多家病院作念检讨，最终被确诊为肺癌晚期。

“学业一定不行废弃，因为如若我废弃，我的东说念主生就没专门念念酷好了。”

她一边调理一边上学，同期作念了几份兼职，运营自媒体账号。

After multiple hospital visits， she was eventually diagnosed with advanced lung cancer.

\"I couldn't give up on my studiesr级电影，\" she said. \"If I did， my life would lose its meaning.\"

She balanced treatment with coursework， worked several part-time jobs and ran a social media account.

谈及生病的影响，刘巧说，“癌症让她愈加珍贵时分。”

她想攥紧时分陪父母久极少，我方最宽心不下的即是他们，要勤奋回馈他们的爱。

Reflecting on how cancer had changed her， Liu Qiao said， \"It made me treasure time more.\"

She wanted to spend as much time as possible with her parents， the people she worried about most， and was determined to give back to them.

毕业后，刘巧准备创业。有许多东说念主问她，“你生病了还干嘛作念这样多事情？”

“但我合计我是风景的，我是在创造对身心是有利的。”

刘巧说，“我内心很确信，我一定会创造名胜。我就会想，我确定会好。其实我挺期盼我老了之后是什么情状，是以我想活到七八十岁，当一个心态很年青的老奶奶。”

After graduation， Liu Qiao plans to start her own business. Many have asked her， \"Why take on so much when you're sick?\"

\"But I feel happy，\" she said. \"I'm doing something good for my body and mind.\"

\"I truly believe I will create a miracle. I keep telling myself I'm going to get better. Actually， I'm really curious what I'll be like when I'm old. So I want to live into my seventies or eighties — as a young-at-heart old lady.\"
